A.M. Rodriguez, Knowing Tilak these past
seventeen years has been an invitation to be real.
It's been an inconceivable opportunity to discover who I really
am - without history, agenda, or fantasy. Working with Tilak has
nothing to do with living up to your fullest potential, finding your
destiny, following your bliss. It
has nothing to do with becoming a good or better person, or any kind of
self-improvement. It's not
even something one can do consciously.
You can't will or think yourself into being.
You can't discover yourself or the world around you through
reason, faith, or goals. For me the first effect of
working with Tilak, aside from a general sense of well being and
aliveness, was simply that the exposures kept me from doing myself
anymore harm - the harm we all inflict on ourselves, usually
unwittingly, through self-sabotage and obsessive compulsive thoughts and
behavior. By engaging with
the attacks, distractions, and distortions that impact our
consciousness, we often feel heavy, hopeless, or confused.
It leads us to seek various escapes, or techniques to gain power,
knowledge, or "peace" with ourselves. As I've continued to work
with Tilak, I've become more porous.
Experiences pass through me more quickly.
I feel more stable and have begun to see myself, and everyone and
thing around me more clearly. I've
discovered things that were there under my nose all along.
I feel the joy of living, the joy of being me - even with the
inherent craziness and contradictions and imperfections. I've become more simple. I've become more real and an adventurer in the truest sense. The adventure is experiencing life and all of its challenges as you - through your unique self, senses, and consciousness with humility, joy, humor, surprise, and gratitude that it's you. Life threw a party and I've been invited to have a wonderful time. I'm not the person that I thought I was when I met Tilak. I don't want many of the things that I thought I did. And yet I've become the person that I always was, that would drop hints, appear for a while until I sabotaged it, or turned away because I didn't think it was good enough, or it contradicted the goals I had. My life has taken many unexpected turns and will take many more, I'm sure. But now when I look around at my life I think," Wow, how did I get here?" instead of, "Oh crap, how did I end up here!" Being with Tilak is not about getting personal power or attainment of anything, really. It's more like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and the adventure is discovering you and the joy that's available to you at every given moment just being you, warts and all. Life is a party and the invitation reads - Come as you are. Thank you, Tilak. |

Elizabeth Smith, I experienced a healing of the heart, a release of past stories and programming that allowed me to sink into my true essence and live my highest possibility. The love and respect I have for myself has transformed my relationships with others in the most beautiful way. The joy I feel daily has nothing to do with anything external, it comes from my connection to the Divine, this, is true freedom. My work with Tilak has been nothing less than transformational. |

Sonya My time with Tilak is like living an "Indiana Jones Movie": You set out with a map or a goal, usually a hope or a dream (buried treasure) and set off to fulfill it. Along the way you are faced with challenge of realizing your goal dodging and battling (sand traps, opposing forces looking for the same treasure) all of the emotional wonder being alive has to offer. Like Indiana Jones you end up in many different scenarios all for the love of the journey: I have found myself laughing, angry, happy, excited and terrified and also like Indi, I’ve come through each experience a richer human more alive and more prepared to face my next adventure. Indiana Jones always finds the treasures he seeks but often realizes the treasure pointed out on the map he can release and let go and instead enjoy the other treasures he discovered like friends, lovers and memories. Your map, like mine, is filled with treasures awaiting you to find them ... through Tilak's love and Light ... my journey continues in wonder. |

Dan Rubenstein Dear Tilak, Meeting you in 2006 for the
first time in I felt very different and could not believe what just happened. This was very powerful. I felt more connected to life at that moment. No negatives my mind and body was relaxed but what just happened. Tilak’s work was this way. You experience life fast and intense in a second you change. Not physically but in your heart and mind you float in time to a place you have never been to. Tilak takes you there. My mind was empty body was relaxed and peaceful like after a massage. My wife and both my teenage children have been to see Tilak and we could not stop talking about the experiences we had. Tilak breaks through the dimension of this world to a place where we feel more love much laughter with peace and truth in a split moment. His presence is everywhere. Tilak is powerful to be next to and playful with his stories. Tilak can talk to 20 people in a room but each one feels like he is talking to them directly and personally. Like the wind blowing we feel Tilak. I see Tilak like a beautiful sunny day exploding light and energy everywhere. One must experience life with Tilak. You will never be the same. Your life will change forever for good.. Peace & Truth you are Tilak Dan Rubenstein

Tom R. Washington DC” “Can ordinary life be
experienced as unconditional wonder? Yes! Astonishment
is a gift, a gift Tilak has bestowed upon me and many others. No amount
of effort can peel away the veneer of banality that renders the world
flat, routine and opaque. The mystery that there is anything at all
glimmers in the margins of awareness but rarely strikes home in all
it’s intensity. The gift of light Tilak brings dramatically strips
away that veil, leaving nothing but the experience of unconditional
wonder. Exposure to Tilak opened my
eyes to what is out there, allowing me to remain true to my quest by
allowing the riddle of the world to continually disclose itself. |
